ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS

The Section of Economic Growth and International Economics is responsible for the compulsory and elective courses on economic growth, development and international economics, within the undergraduate and graduate curriculum of the Department of Economics. The fellows of the section contribute to the economic literature primarily on growth, development, political economy and economic thought. Great importance is attached to pluralism in education and research. Courses are designed and conducted with the central objectives of developing students’ competence on theory and technical tools as well as improving their ability to develop comparative and critical thinking.
